How to help the most populated regions to be more resilient, especially when they are highly dynamic with few data available? Mapping helps us to understand the complex spatial development of the Pearl River Delta, the largest urban area with the fastest speed of urbanization. In this lecture we will explore a methodological tool on how to create maps taking into account resilience. You will learn some basic skill to map a complex spatial problem with a large scale and long time period.
