5.2.1 General Theory

Course subject(s) Module 5 – The Minimum Viable Product

Introduction

The video lecture introduces you to the concept of the MVP. We explore the Webvan case of a venture that did not use an MVP. We then explore the Zappos case where the entrepreneur successfully used an MVP. You will learn about two types of MVPs, those without real delivery of value, and those with real delivery of value. Those without contain landing pages, video MVPs and wireframes. Those with real delivery are “Wizard of Oz MVP” and “Concierge MVP”. We then finish by revisiting the purpose of an MVP.
