Course subject(s) 6. Social Design Principles

In the preceding video ‘Distilling Social Design Principles’ Prof. Jill Slinger mentions three references. The first is a journal article by de Boer et al. (2019),  the second is a PhD thesis by McEvoy (2019), and the third is the document on social impact assessment by Vanclay et al. (2015) provided earlier. The journal article by de Boer et al. (2019) is included immediately below – it is focused on the port of Tema, Ghana. A journal article by McEvoy et al. (2019) is included instead of the full PhD thesis.  Here the authors establish that workshop activities can have positive learning effects on an overarching stakeholder engagement process for up to 1,5 years.
