This module, professor Laura Ramírez Elizondo will explain the concepts required to integrate renewable energy technologies into the electricity network. You will learn about the differences between the traditional power systems and those of the future. You’ll get acquainted with concepts such as microgrids and demand side management. And you will be introduced to power electronic converters and power control.
