Welcome to module 2 of this course. In this module we will introduce institutional theory. It will discuss the various aspects of institutional theory and how they can be applied to the situation of electric vehicles. It will emphasize the relationship between technology and institutions. In the last part of the module we will take a more practical approach and we will have two interviews of how policy and institutions work for one of the world leaders in the Netherlands. You will learn some of the motivations behind and details of the Dutch electrical vehicles policy. In the last video, we will have a closer look at one of the institutions that tries to manage the expectations of different stakeholders: Holland E-mobility.
