Marie-Claire ten Veldhuis works at Delft University of Technology as assistant professor in Urban Water Systems. She received her PhD degree in 2010 for her research on quantitative urban flood risk analysis based on data analysis of citizens’ flood reports.

Prof.dr.ir. Alexander Verbraeck

Prof.dr.ir. A. (Alexander) Verbraeck (MSc in applied mathematics 1987 (cum laude); PhD in logistics 1991), is a full professor at Delft University of Technology, Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, Multi Actor Systems Department. His research focuses on modeling and simulation, especially in heavily distributed environments and using real-time data.

ir. Henk Jan Verhagen

Henk Jan Verhagen graduated in 1978 in Coastal Engineering at Delft University, department of Civil Engineering. After a career in consultancy and work for the Netherlands Ministry of Public Works, he joined in 1991 Unesco-IHE, where he set up a short course in coastal zone management, and was responsible for the coastal engineering programme.

Dr. ir. Sandra Verhagen

Sandra Verhagen obtained her MSc and PhD in geodesy and is now an assistant professor at the department of Geoscience and Remote Sensing of Delft University of Technology. In 2007 she received a VENI grant from the Dutch Science Foundation.
