MAIN TAKEAWAY

Through his architecture Michael Pawlyn tries to mimic ecosystem models. This takes him into relatively uncharted territory for an architect. In the design of his biomimetic office, for instance, he was inspired by nearly a hundred different biological organisms to address some of the key functional challenges.
