Embracing complexity
Course subject(s)
2. Finding new Opportunities through Exploration
In this video, Dr. Christine de Lille, will explain how designers explore opportunities and what to do when faced with complex problems. When designers first begin the process of understanding a problem, they often get stuck in details or feel overwhelmed by all of the important interactions involved.
You will learn how to embrace the complexity of problems and use it to find unmet needs and potential design opportunities. You’ll later use these lessons for a short quiz and also in beginning your own design project. On the next page, you will find the example that she refers to.
