Here one can find the case study the students had to do and exercises for non-equilibrium thermodynamics. The document contains an explanation about the case and the steps to be taken to come to a good end-results. The case study was done parallel to the lectures, one needs the information in the lectures to complete the study. The study was part of the final examination, a presentation of the results was graded. The exercise was there to indicate the level of understanding about non-equilibrium thermodynamics after the lectures and readings.
