The Human Controller – Readings

Course subject(s) 01. General Introduction 02. From Perception … to Action 03. Design & Evaluation 04. Frequency Domain Analyses 05. Haptic Applications 06. Shared Control 07. General Discussion

There is no single book that covers all the topics in the Human Controller, The class is teached based on lectures, papers, and findings from the latest research. Still, there is a book that cover parts of the class.

Below, the book, papers and additional background papers can be found.

Book

Control Theory for Humans: Quantitative Approaches To Modeling Performance, Richard J. Jagacinski and John M. Flach, Taylor & Francis 2003, ISBN: 978-08-058-2293-9.

Papers

Besides the book multiple papers are used in the course. They can be found below.
