The excursion to Velsen deals with the water treatment facilities in swimming pool Heerenduinen(gemeente Velsen).
In the basement of this swimming pool many treatment processes can be seen. Ozonation, chlorination, filtration, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and marble filtration are used in this swimming pool to treat the water.
