Excursion
The students of CIE4485 went to Dokhaven in Rotterdam. They visited the wastewater treatment plant which is designed in 1985. The WWTP has the specifications:
– Absorption-Belebung (A/B) technology
– BOD removal
– Nitrification in summer
– B-stage for 75% Storm Water Flow.
Special about this WWTP is that it is constructed underground. The slides of the presentation that is given at Dokhaven can be seen below.
