De docent herhaalt het eerste half uur eerst college 5 (slide 13) over de windturbine. Daarna legt hij uit wat hij bedoelt met de behoudswetten in differentiaal vorm en zal dit eerst uitleggen met behulp van het onderwerp ‘verkeersgolven’. In dit college legt hij ook uit waarom de wet van behoud van massa op stromingsleer van toepassing is en behandelt hij niet-samendrukbare viskeuze stroming. De docent eindigt met een voorbeeld van een lager en legt de theorie achter ‘smering’ uit.
