In the last lecture of the Research Methodology course, the Academic Writing, General Pitfalls and Getting Started lecture, the student get do’s and don’ts about academic writing. After that the lecturer discussed common pitfalls and problems students might encounter during their thesis research. At last the lecturer gives the students a first few steps to start their thesis research with.

Deliverables

  • Finish writing the Project Plan.
  • Critically reread your document to check if you have met the requirements as listed in the template.
  • Do a thorough spell and grammar check of your document!
  • Upload draft into TurnItIn to check that all of the work has been properly referenced.
  • Submit your assignment using TurnItIn. You can find this in the ‘Assignments’ section on the left hand side.
