In this first part of the actual content of the course, we will be introducing the concepts of stress and strain and their relationship. We will do this by first showing you a small experiment to visualize the concept. This is done by our virtual lecturer, Hannah Hypothesis. She is our expert in tinkering and exploring!

This is then followed by a short summary of the outcomes of the experiment before the first video lecture. For each subsection, we will also indicate the required reading in the accompanying e-book and provide you with a summary of the main takeaways of the course.
