3.5.1 Introduction to Spacecraft Structural Elements
Course subject(s)
Module 3. Aerospace Structures
So, if you are a real space fan, the last few sections may have been of less interest to you, although many structural concepts of aircraft also apply in space. Hopefully, we will make it all up to you in this section dedicated to Space Structures and their unique elements.
We will detail to you the difference between spacecraft and launch vehicles and the typical build-up of each of them and how they interact.
