In the previous modules, you have already seen examples of typical aerospace structures. In the Loads and Stresses module, we will cover the loads and stresses acting on these structures. And you will learn to assess design and structures in terms of loads and stresses.

Aerospace structures are subjected to several external loads. So to understand loads and stresses in the structure, we first need to investigate which external loads are acting on the airframe.
