4.2.4 Main Takeaways on Load Paths

A load path is a path that links the applied load to the equilibrium forces in the structures.

These paths are different for each applied load. When we apply external loads, our structure (the load path) will deform, this deformation will create stresses: compression, tension, and shear stresses.
