Hopper sedimentation-part 1

In lecture 11, prof.dr.ir. C. van Rhee will explain about ‘Hopper sedimentation’ in two parts. In this lecture he will give an introduction to a hopper dredge and will then give a description about the TSHD (Trailer Suction Hopper Dredgers) process and explains more on settling velocity.
