The excursion to Weesperkarspel (Waternet) deals with drinking water production from surface water.
At Weesperkarspel, the testing facitlities for water treatment research can be seen. Also the treatment facilities (with softening, ozonation. activated carbon filtration and slow sand filtration), the clear water storage tanks and the distribution pumping station will be shown.
