System Dynamics modelling & simulation
System Dynamics is a method for modelling and simulating dynamic, complex issues/systems that are characterized by feedback and accumulation effects (check module 3 if need be).
The upcoming web lecture will teach you the basics of system dynamics modelling & simulation.
You will learn:
- The basic structure of a system dynamics model and simulation: causal loop diagrams, feedback loops and stock-flow structures.
- How system dynamics simulations help its users understand infra-systems, notably the long-term effects of infrastructure policies.
