The excursion to Monster (DZH) deals with drinking water production by means of surface water infiltration in the dunes.

At Monster, the infiltration ponds can be seen, together with the abstraction systems. Also the treatment facilities (with aeration, softening, filtration and slow sand filtration), the clear water storage tanks, the distribution pumping station and the water tower will be shown.
