Module 1: Complexity of Infrastructure
In this part, about the physical complexity of infra-systems, we will explain the emergent behaviour of infra-systems. We will see that the physical complexity is caused by the fact that legacy infrastructures are a patchwork of national, regional and national networks and a patchwork of old and new technologies. Besides that, also changing functionality of infrastructures play an important role in the physical complexity of infra-systems.
