Part C: Social complexity of infra-systems

Course subject(s) Module 1: Complexity of Infrastructure

The introduction of the operators and the management of infra-systems in web lecture B, immediately demands for zooming in at the social complexity of infra-systems.
This part and the next part will do that. We will see that the social complexity lays in the interactions between actors operating in the infra-systems. The number of actors operating in infra-systems has become greater and greater over the last decades. In this part we will discuss the changes in the actor configuration by introducing the concepts of unbundlingconvergencecompetition and privatization.
