The importance of actor analysis
This video introduces actor analysis and presents an example to illustrate why you would use actor analysis: the sinking of the Brent Spar oil rig, owned by the oil company Shell. Shell had chosen a method for the sinking of the oil rig, but had not been very attentive to other actors who were opposed to this solution and were able to mobilize their network to support a very different solution. This had huge implications for Shell!
